A few weeks back, we posted an instrumental demo of one of our all-time favorite songs, Marshall Crenshaw's "Cynical Girl," and invited friends, strangers, and pets to submit vocals for the track.

We are pleased to announce a winner (from the human category, that is), and his name is Jeff Blagg.

Have you ever wanted to be a vocalist for Liam? (Neither have we) Well, now you have your chance! In honor of one of our favorite songwriters, Marshall Crenshaw, we’ve thrown together an instrumental cover of "Cynical Girl."

So, what do you need to do?
  • Download the instrumental mp3 track.
  • Using your favorite microphone and software, record a separate vocal track to go along with the instrumental.
  • Email the band through the website contact form and let us know that you would like to submit a vocal track. We will respond with a super-secret email address to which you can email your mp3.
  • The band will judge all submitted vocals and post their favorite(s) on the website.
